1. Seller guarantees that as of the date of this agreement puppy is in good health and at the time the puppy was placed on the transport (if shipped) puppy has received appropriate  dewormings and is up to date on vaccinations. Seller will provide Buyer with a medical chart detailing the treatments the puppy has received under the Seller's care.
2. Buyer shall have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase to confirm that it is a healthy puppy. Failure to do so will null and void this contract.  Seller warrants puppy from major life threatening genetic defects (that would cause death) for one year from the puppy's date of birth, diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian. The diagnosis must be supported by a signed and sworn statement by the licensed veterinarian. You must return the puppy with all medical records, laboratory test, AKC forms and papers to Seller within the 72 hours.  Seller retains the option to a second opinion by a licensed veterinarian. If a puppy is euthanized prior to the Seller having the option to get a second opinion, this guarantee will be void. If the puppy should die, the Buyer must have an autopsy on the puppy to see if the cause of death was due to a major life threatening genetic defect. Contact the Seller before the autopsy. Seller will have the option to get a second opinion by a licensed veterianarian to confirm the defect. If the defect is confirmed, the Seller will replace the puppy with another of equal value, when one becomes available. If one is not available or will not be coming available of equal value, the buyer will be responsible for price differences due to bloodlines, markings,etc. All cost of the above procedures and shipping incurred by Buyer are the Buyer's responsibility. The costs of the second opinions are the responsibility of the Seller.
3. The Seller does not guarantee a puppy's color, adult size, temperament, disposition, trainability, conformation, whether or not it can be shown, or breeding capability.
4. A replacement puppy cannot be exchanged for a cash refund.
5. A deposit is nonrefundable nor can it be transfered to another puppy. However, if something happens to the puppy while in my care and cannot be sold, you will have a choice of a deposit refund or to place the deposit on the next available puppy or a puppy from a future litter.    
6. The Seller does not guarantee the puppy against injuries, illnesses or temperament caused by the neglect or abuse of the Buyer. Seller has the right to refuse replacement of any puppy/dog for temperament or problems caused by Buyer's neglect or abuse. 
7. No refunds on owner allergies, incompatibilties,disputes, "changing your mind" or disagreement among household members concerning the puppy.  But if for any reason you are unable to keep the puppy you are welcome to ship it back to me at your cost, and I would gladly place it in a loving home are help you to place it in a loving home. We do not take any chances on our puppies ending up in a shelter are in a puppy mill NO WAY!   No money will be refunded.  

8. A puppy sold as a pet/companion will be sold on limited registration only. He/she must be neutered or spayed by 
6-7 months of age, or this contract will be voided.  You must provide me with proof from your veterinarian that the puppy has been spayed or neutered and I will then mail you  your orginal AKC papers.  This is to protect my dogs and bloodlines from getting into the hands of backyard breeders
and puppymills. I know breeding sounds so easy but its not, breeding with out experience can mean losing a mom, puppies or both due to complications, alot of things can go wrong when a female become pregnant, spaying and neutering helps to prevent any of this from happening so please have your pet spayed or neutered to protect your pet. 
9. This contract is non transferable. 
10. I ask that you would use Marquis as the prefix of the puppy's registered name, for example "Marquis xxx xxx" You choose the name that you would like to call your puppy.
11. Because of the danger of exposure to outside diseases, Seller reserves the right to refuse the return of any puppy/dog in order to protect the health of my dogs.
12. No other warranties are expressed or implied.
