Papillons
Papillons are known as
the beautiful Butterfly dog because of their large ears. The Papillon is a very elegant, dainty creature, with such
a innocent expression. This tiny dog has a fabulous, flowing, long coat, which has a silky texture. The Papillon is mainly
white, with black, sable, red, lemon (rare) or black and tan patches. The Papillon breed is a very intelligent toy
dog that is quick to learn and egar to please, makes an excellent companion dogs and family pets, Although elegant and
graceful, the Papillon also has plenty of energy and loves to play. The Papillon is one of the top
ten smartest breeds to own, top ten easiest breeds to train and the top ten
most affectionate breeds to own. The Papillon is well known for its loving disposition and for
being so Intelligent they are among the most trainable breed and easiest to house break of the toy breeds.
I have owned many breeds in my life but I have to tell
one has not loved until they have owned a real true to the breed standard Papillon. My Papillons are my very best friends. I
could not ever imagine life with out them they make me laugh they love to play and to be held, I am never alone
they are always right by my side doing something to make me laugh, their personality is out of this world.
Papillons make the most wonderful companion and make
excellent show and therapy dogs, with such intelligence
they are always willing to learn something new. Papillons excel in obedience and agility and have earned more titles
than any other toy breed. Papillon
do not tend to smell like most breeds, minimal bathing is required as this breed stays fairly clean and is oderless. They
are often referred to as the wash and go breed. Very little work is needed to keep up their beautiful appearance,
brush once a week or so. The Papillon won't mind being kept in the house for days at a time however it needs to get
out and exercise regularly. They can also make great city dogs and suited to apartment living. This
lively breed thrives on mental stimulation and enjoys a daily walk and enjoys getting involved with family activities
and fun. Papillons will even make up their own games to play.. Papillons are the one breed with very few genetic defects. , usually as a breed becomes more popular careless
backyard breeders will inbreed them example (mother/son, father/daughter & sibling/sibling) this should NEVER be done.
But backyard breeders & puppy mill will do this for profit without regards for the breed and will cause so many
genetic defects to show up and will sell these SICK puppies. That's why its so important to buy a puppy
from a reputable breeder who really cares about the breed and what they are breeding. Reputable breeders make sure they
breed Papillons from top quality that will look like a Papillons should look when its an adult. All puppies are cute but
what about when they grow up that's why its so important not to buy on price alone.. My puppies will cost more due to the quality they
are.
Papillons
have so much character they are loved by all who meets them, no one can have just one they are highly addictive...
Long Coat Chihuahuas
Long Coat
Chihuahuas are known to be lively, bright, alert, inquisitive, loyal and very affectionate. They are very loyal
to their owners. The Chihuahua's are the worlds Smallest dog breed. Weighing between
2-6 pounds, height 6-9 inch tall. The Chihuahua Breed rank in the Top Ten most
popular breed to own. The long coat Chihuahua's tend to be more mellow, not aggressive or snappy
but easy to train with high intelligence and more out going than the short coats. I just love them :) Long
coat Chihuahua's are BIG on personality, highly intelligent who thrives on having things to do, always
interested in everything going on, eager to get involved and can be trained to a high level many have excelled in the show
ring, agility, fly ball and obedience. Foremost the Chihuahua is known as a companion dogs "lapdog" making
the perfect therapy dog and the perfect watch dog always on alert. I love them very much and could not image life
with out a little long coat Chihuahua right by my side or in my lap following me everywhere I go :) When choosing a Chihuahua please watch out, to make sure you
buy a quality bred Chihuahua as there are tons of poorly bred Chihuahua's out there who do
not meet the breed standards and nor do they even look like a Chihuahua when they grow up. A quality
Chihuahua should appear square cobby body, pointed ears, large apple dome head, short to medium muzzle
with large eyes set apart and a level top line. A quality Chihuahua from a reputable has been bred
to breed out any bad traits that passes on such as poor temperament, biting or being aggressive. All of my Chihuahua
meet the AKC breeding standards and are very friendly with such wonderful temperaments :) They love their own kind and other dogs as well my Chihuahua are best friends with
my Papillons. No one can own just one they are soooo addictive.......... Reputable
Breeders
You should always purchase your
puppy from a reputable breeder the breeder should be happy to have you come by. The condition of the breeders home and
the area in which the puppies are raised can tell you alot about the breeder and the potential health of the puppies.
The enviorment in which the puppies stay in the breeders home it should be clean with no signs of sickness such as bloodly
diarrhea, vomiting, offensive urine odor. Adults should be healthy and well socialized and living inside the
breeders home and NOT raised in kennels (cages) out back. All puppies should be raised INSIDE the breeders home NOT IN A KENNEL by themselves. Puppies need lots
of human contact and exposed to sight and sounds, so they are not with drawn shy, scared or hard to house train. When visiting the female of the pups she may not look
very attractive as pregancies often causes the female to shed her coat refered to as (blown coat) It will appear very thin and short but will grow back
in about 5 months.
These days
you will not see pedigree well bred dogs for sale in pet shops, flea markets or news papers. Reputable breeders will always be there to help
you out to answer any question you may have. A reputable breeder is one who breeds as closely as possible to the breed standards-that means it looks like
a Papillon or Chihuahua suppose to look when it matures(and not some poorly bred looking something they call a Papillon
or Chihuahua) but also that it is sound in body and temperament with correct conformation. If you want a Papillon or
Chihuahua, you dont won't to find when it matures it looks nothing like a Papillon or Chihuahua, or that it
is of poor temperament, poor structure or many health problems (defects). Thats why choosing a reputable breeder
is so important. A reputable breeder will always welcome you to come in there home and have a look around and will always
provide you with their veterinarian's number. Even though buying from a reputable breeder you will pay more up front but, at least you will know
you are buying a healthy well taken care of puppy, that will bring you many, many years of happiness :)
